At award winning Pine Tree Hollow Glamping, you’ll find three quirky glamping cabins and a unique covered communal space within a stunning setting within Co Down’s beautiful Mourne Gullion Strangford Geopark.
We’re a small, pet-friendly glamping site just outside Castlewellan in Co Down. We’re not a luxury hotel in a field- and that’s exactly the point.
This is authentic glamping ; cosy unique cabins, wood-burning stoves, option of outdoor cooking, fire pits, games, friendly animals and the freedom to enjoy the outdoors in a fully enclosed space.
Just 10 mins from Newcastle, with views of the Mourne Mountains and Slieve Croob, Pine Tree Hollow Glamping, a former winner of Channel 4’s “Four In A Bed” series, provides a unique family experience, offering all the best bits of camping but with the comfort of a cosy bed at the end of the day.
The site also has a large covered communal cooking, dining and games area with indoor fire pit and shared bathrooms beside the cabins.

Cosy family glamping with a traditional, rustic feel for up to 5 in a triple bunk and small double bed.
Our bespoke Yurt is particularly suitable for larger or extended families, sleeping up to 7 in a triple bunk, standard double bed and 2 camp beds.
